I had the privilege of going to the AVP Manhattan Open (beach volleyball) with some friends this weekend. It was amazing, to say the least! We had tickets in a Box Suite (ie, shaded and fed) all day, which made for some great views of some great matches. My favorite:: 2008 Beijing Olympic gold medalists Phil Dalhausser & Todd Rogers vs. Sean Rosenthal & Jake Gibb. Very intense! If you've never seen real beach volleyball live-- go! Its a summer must.
